In the previous blog we explained the process of User Configuration Screen and in this blog, we will explain how to use Transaction Upload feature with passing the transaction
We need to add Menu Type i.e. Transaction Upload Screen in From Bank Services à Bank Transactions Menu
After adding the Menu, we need to pass the transaction to check the record in Transaction Upload Screen.
Here we have passed a transaction for Prepayment to Vendor where we have entered all required details and posted this entry from Payment Batch List.
Here we can see Void Check option also i.e. if we want to Void Check (cancelled) then we can do it from here and the same will be recorded in Transaction Upload Screen.
After posting a transaction, here we can see the Transaction Upload Screen.
Select Bank name from the finder button then select Last Upload Date and Upload CutOff Date to Load the transactions. Once we select required fields system will show all transactions in selected period where we have posted or void the entries.
Here we can see that there are two transactions are showing, out of that one transaction has been void i.e. cancelled so it is also reflected in this screen. We can see bottom of the screen that system has showing us Transaction Summary i.e no. of total checks and Amount & no. of Voids Check and Amount.
Then we can click on Upload Button which is given in the bottom of the screen. Once we click on the Upload Button our Output File will be generated which we have already define Upload path in User Configuration Screen
After clicking on the Upload button from Transaction Upload Screen here we can see Output File has been generated in the given path. This format we have already configured as per the client’s requirement.
Here I stands for Check Issued to Vendor and C stands for Check has Void or cancelled.
After completing this process, we can see history of our data in Transaction Upload History Screen. We will upload next Blog on Transaction Upload History in Positive Pay
