What is e-lnvoicing in Vietnam?

e-lnvoicing in Vietnam is the national e-invoicing system under which every invoice Vietnam businesses issue must be an e-signed XML file and submitted to the General Department of Taxation (GDT). Invoices can be issued in two ways. With a tax authority code, wherein the GDT validates the invoice with a unique code before you send it to your customer. Without a code, wherein you send the signed invoice to your customer and report the data to the GDT.

Our Vietnam e-invoicing solution is a native add-on for Sage ERP users that makes e-invoicing efficient and accurate in line with GDT requirements. By automating end-to-end e-invoicing workflow, the solution ensures you are fully covered, including XML invoice generation, digital signing, service provider integration, data submission to the e-tax portal, GDT unique code capturing, and invoice status tracking.

The add-on converts invoice data into XML and applies the seller’s digital signature.

3 - Send to GDT

The invoice is submitted to the GDT via service provider integration with Sage ERP.

5 - Update Sage ERP

The add-on applies the GDT code to the VAT invoice for sharing with the buyer, and archives the invoice data.
